Local artist, Amoid Khan, will display his landscapes and other work at the Blackwells Mills Canal House.
The Blackwells Mills Canal House Association welcomes Nancy Lasher, currently an Associate Professor of Marketing and Interdisciplinary Business at The College of New Jersey to the Canal House on Saturday, July 15, 2017. Her undergraduate research in Economic History as a Henry Rutgers Scholar focused on the economic, social, and political network of the elite "class" in New Brunswick during the late nineteenth century. Her talk, "The Late 19th Century New Brunswick Economy or Why I Love the Canal House" will focus on New Brunswick as a manufacturing hub during this time period.

The Blackwells Mills Canal House Association will sponsor Linda J. Barth, local historian and author, as she presents the history of the Delaware & Raritan Canal followed by a book signing. Afterwards, join Bob Barth for a short walk along the historic towpath.
